Working out in a big gym can be intimidating and waiting for equipment to become available can be a waste of time. My home studio is full of equipment that will challenge you without an audience or a waiting line. Learn how to use equipment appropriately to reduce the risk of injury while receiving the maximum benefit of an individualized plan. Whether you’re looking to lose weight, inches, or stress, exercise is the answer. Personal training is not always about heavy weight lifting but rather finding the right exercises for you to reach your desired level of fitness. From keeping up with the kids or grandkids to sport specific training, personal training is the optimum way to reach your goals.

Creating an individualized workout plan is the center piece of personal training. Perhaps you have an old injury (or new one) or perhaps you have a muscular imbalance from playing a sport; as your personal trainer I will chose specific exercises to meet your goals while keeping your overall strength/flexibility/balance in mind.

Unlike a group fitness class where you get a general overall class and will be doing the same exercises as the 25 year-old waitress and the 50 year-old office worker, my personal training program will focus on your goals, your preferences, and your abilities.

Working one-on-one allows us to get to know each other and how best to motivate you to reach your goals and overcome obstacles.

Semi-private Training (2 people)

Having a dedicated workout buddy can help you show up when you’d really rather watch TV. When you know someone is waiting for you (besides me!), you are more likely to show up and put in your best effort. You and your friend need to be in nearly the same shape for this to work well.

Group Training

If you have a group of friends who would all like to work out together, let me know and we can start a private class.
